In 1972 his son Robert took over the company, re-branding itself as the Robert Charles we know today. The company has fluctuated in size over the years, having showrooms in London and Exeter. In 1987 they moved to Galmington in Taunton to combine design, manufacture and installation all under one roof. We put our longevity down to an alternative view of manufacturing and making traditional hand-made cabinetry that will stand the test of time.
Crafted with care
We treat every customer’s project individually, taking the time and care to design from first principles the very best solution to meet the brief. We build each piece of furniture by hand in our workshops in Somerset.
Attention to detail
We have an excellent team of fitter who install the finished product, meticulously following the designer’s plans. Through our passionate commitment to excellence and attention to detail, we have been able to create some of the most beautiful home interiors in the country.
